from the shore

Participants joined artist Tullis Rennie for a day of listening beneath the waters off Bexhill-on-Sea. Working with hydrophones and portable recorders, the group made the first recordings for the Coastal Sound Archive.

The workshop began at De La Warr Pavilion and moved onto the shoreline: a shared encounter with the coast through listening and recording.
